INTRODUCTION
This blog has been created exclusively for reaching youth hearts all over the world.
Why?
Although in Spain and concretely in Tenerife, there are lots of youth unemployed, and the population is low on moral. Lost generation?
NO.
Creativity is growing fast ,and nowadays La Laguna is full of talented people thinking of great stuff.
Actually they need an oportunity, and you´ll see how amazing they are.
So, our objective is promoting La Laguna as World Youth Capital and, as the official webpage says...

WHERE TO GO?
We've been considering the city resources and the proper locations where youth people usually meet and, subsecuently, we decided to include some heritage places well known by tourists.
Casually, these places are also world heritage and many people walks around there every day.
In cultural
aspects, for young people there are some places very nice where you can meet friends.
The whole area is full of these kind of places:
La Concepción:
This plaza is
a very quiet place and it’s a place where friends and families usually meet.
Plaza Del Adelantado:
Here is the town hall..
Many people is usually seen there, because its a very quiet place and its pretty comfortable
to stay in. It’s usual watching old men giving food to pigeons and it´s quite a relaxing
place. You can go here with your family as well, and have some fun in this
wonderful area.
In instantance, the enchanting side of La Laguna is located in every single part of its monuments, and due to this and many other things it´s worth to consider this town as the world youth capital.
Now we will
say that we can find and use types of transport in la Laguna…
Streetcar ,
is the transport more famous in Tenerife because is the most used for all
people and is fantastic
Bus station is other type very popular because is very quick , cheap and you can go to
so much places

taxis are always available, these taxis may be found in many places but include
La Milagrosa and La Trinidad.
The Hotel La Laguna
Nivaria
The Hotel Laguna Nivaria occupies a
sixteenth-century mansion and its located in the old town of San Cristobal de la
Laguna , declared a World Heritage the Humanity by UNESCO. Give a la carte
restaurant and rooms, suites and elegant apartments.
All accommodations at Hotel Laguna Nivaria are elegantly decorated in colonial style with wooden framed windows and French
doors. They include cable TV, dining area and kitchen with fridge.

The establishment La Asomada del Gato occupies a protected building with a charming central courtyard,

rooms with free Wi-Fi.

In contibution with some internet campaigns that have made videos to represent La Laguna as a candidate to become World's youth capital, we´ve been researching for anyone who could provide to us any design that could be useful.
La Laguna's Qualities
LEGACY; As world heritage, our monuments will cause great impact on you.
AUSTERITY; La Laguna and the people who live there are very modest and simple.
LIBERTY; La Laguna is a place where you can feel free thanks to the beauty of the
monuments that are there and also due to the ambient.
APTITUDES; In La Laguna you can find new skills that you can use in your life.
GROWTH; La Laguna with the passage of time grows emotionally.
UNITY ; In La Laguna you can make new friends and meet lots of people.
NATURE; There´s a lot of nature in La Laguna, and you can breath and relax for a while.
ACTUALITY; The Laguna is a place very updated and informed of all news
Charity campaing
Nowadays, Canary Island's people is going through a great economical crisis. Some people have problems even to buy food. What can we do to solve this problem? Well, our idea is to organize a food recollection to help them.
This food recollection would take place in Plaza del Cristo. If you want to help, please go next monday at six o'clock in the evening.
You must bring non-perishable food, so just in case there´s 'more food than needed ', we could use this food once again or save it.
If you want to participate in this campaign as a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and you should come monday in the morning to help the organization sistem of this event.

The White Night!!
The white night is one of the most exciting and inviting festivities here in La Laguna, but it´s also a problem to police corps due to the uncontrolled amount of drunk people marching down the streets at night.
Furthermore, many people living in the most transited places in La Laguna usually complain about the annoying noises that don´t let them sleep properly.
In order to provide everyone not only with a controlled festival, but also with a funny one, we've been researching for some ideas that might be useful to improve La Laguna during this crazy night:
·We think that the places where people should celebrate the White Night, have to be as far as possible from houses. One example is the parking next to Plaza del Adelantado, where people can sing and dance without disturbing anyone.
· To make La Laguna a safer place at night, we could also increase the number of police officers on duty in order to control issues like drugs and alcohol, so there are less problems with drunk people marching down the streets.
· We could try as well to install public toilets in the most transited places. This makes things a lot easier.
